Remeiart came into existence in 2011 in Santa Margarida i els Monjos as a project to teach and disseminate knowledge about herbal remedies promoted by the Town Council with the collaboration of the local entities and economic fabric with the aim of promoting herbs in all their possible uses: health, welfare, food, botany, etc.
The Remeiart Fair is held every first Sunday in June at Penyafort Castle, in Santa Margarida i els Monjos, and is entirely dedicated to remedial herbs and to all the products that can be made with them.
