The Festa Major of Cal Rubió is celebrated every year around 12 October in honour of the Our Lady of the Pillar.
The festival is organized by the centenary entity Cal Rubió Cultural and Recreational Centre, known as The Society, created in 1907 initially as the Brotherhood. It is the space for the town’s social and cultural meetings and, with the collaboration of the Town Council, it organizes the Festa Major, which every year lays on a number of popular folkloric and traditional activities, which also enjoy the participation of the folkloric elements and traditional dances of both els Monjos and la Ràpita.
