Clothing, food, plants, household goods… At els Monjos market you can find almost everything, even on a Sunday. This, together with good parking facilities and a select offer have meant that for more than 25 years, the market has become a benchmark in the region and in numerous parts of the metropolitan area.
Every Sunday at around 7 am, the streets near the car park at the entrance to els Monjos begin to receive visits from old acquaintances. Cars, vans and small trucks loaded with fruit, vegetables, clothes and household goods, utensils, plants, a variety of food, or a thousand other products that little by little are removed from their packaging to be ordered in a multicoloured mosaic of products.
The market is held every Sunday morning and currently covers an area of 1,200 linear metres spread out between Rambla de Penyafel, Cal Salines avenue and an area of the market car park.
